The Login to Behavior (Kickboard) plugin allows PowerSchool SIS users with Unified Classroom Behavior Support (Kickboard) accounts to log in through PowerSchool. The staff must have both an activated PowerSchool account and an activated Behavior (Kickboard) account. Upon using the plugin the first time the user will be prompted to enter their Behavior (Kickboard) email and password, then they will be able to log in through PowerSchool going forward using this plugin.
The following instructions cover how to install the Login to Behavior (Kickboard) plugin to your Powerschool SIS instance. These steps must be completed by a PowerSchool user with system administrator access.
There are two major steps to this process:
- Generating a Self-Signed Certificate
- Installing and Configuring the Login to Behavior (Kickboard) Plugin
Generating a Self-Signed Certificate
- Login to your Powerschool SIS admin instance.
- Go to System > System Settings > Digital Certificate Management.
- Under Import Digital Certificate select option “I would like to create and import a self signed certificate”.
- Under Certificate Name, provide a name that relates to Behavior (Kickboard) (you will select this later when you install the Login to Behavior (Kickboard) plugin)
- Click the Generate And Import button to create a self-signed certificate.
- Verify that the certificate you created is now listed under the “List of Certificates with Private Key” section of the page.
