The Daily Activity page is where teachers spend the majority of their time on Kickboard. Here, you can record behaviors, see students' culture metric balances, and view which behaviors have been recorded for students on the current day.
Record a Behavior
To record a behavior on Kickboard, you'll first want to make sure you're viewing the correct group of students. Select your desired group from the Group dropdown.
To record a behavior for a single student, click on the student's name and the row will turn Kickboard blue.
Next, select the behavior you'd like to record either from the colorful quick buttons on the lefthand side of the screen
or from the Select a Behavior... dropdown right above the quick buttons.
Record a Behavior for Multiple Students at Once
If you'd like to record a behavior for more than one student at the same time, click on the names of each student, and they will all turn Kickboard blue. When you click on the behavior, it will be recorded for each of the selected students.
You can also select all students in the group at once by clicking the Select All button above the student names.
To deselect certain students, click on their names, and their rows will turn white again. This is a helpful feature when recording whole-class points.
Attach a Note
You have the option of attaching a note to a behavior if you'd like to provide more context for why you are recording the behavior. To attach a note, select the student's name, type the note in the Attach a note (optional) field, and then select the behavior. Clicking on the behavior saves the record, so make sure you type in the note before you click on the behavior.
Note: To edit a note, you must delete the behavior the note is attached to, then re-record the behavior with the edited note. There is no way to edit a note without deleting the behavior.
