Assessment Scorecards: Upload a Spreadsheet

To enter scores via upload, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Academics > Assessment Scorecards.
  2. Select a Course from the drop-down and click Screen_Shot_2014-03-26_at_4.53.11_PM.png
  3. On the Assessment Details page, select Upload a spreadsheet.
  4. Search for skills in the drop-down by typing in the name or skill number in the text-box within the drop-down. You can add more questions by typing in the number and clicking Add. Screen_Shot_2014-03-27_at_2.10.22_PM.png. Remember that each questions has to be assigned to a skill. Click Next
  5.  There are four different types of scorecards you can upload: 
    • These are devices that you can use to capture students' assessment scores and export item response reports:
    • This is an excel template that you can populate with students' responses to multiple choice and short answer questions so that you have access to question level analysis:
  6. Select your File Format and Student ID Type, select the file from your computer and click Screen_Shot_2014-03-28_at_3.55.08_PM.pngScreen_Shot_2014-03-28_at_3.56.30_PM.png


Any students who do not have scores on an uploaded scorecard will receive zeroes. 

  • To avoid this you can delete the students from the file before you upload. 
  • You can add new students' scores at anytime.
