There are 4 ways that you can view the progress of your students in Academic Analysis. You can analyze by Skill, Assessment, Multiple Skills or Multiple Assessments.
Analyze by Multiple Skills (was Overall): View the overall grade and subskill grade (by expanding) for every skill you have selected
Example - Chabrya'l Adams has a grade of 67% on Skill 6.PS.14 graphs of one-dimension motion, which is calculated by averaging the raw scores of the three subskills within Skill 6.PS.14, 'Velocity vs. Time', 'Distance vs. Time', and 'Constant Velocity'. She has a grade of 50% on Skill 6.PS.15 Velocity.
The overall class mastery for Skill 6.PS.14 (the average of all students' skill grade) is 58%. The class mastery for Skill 6.PS.15 is 71%.
Analyze by Skill: Select only one skill and view all the assessments that assessed the selected skill
Example- Rafael Clas has a grade of 50% on Skill 1. He received a 100% for all questions about Skill 1 on the first assessment. He received a 0% for all questions about Skill 1 on the second assessment.
The overall class mastery of Skill 1 (the average of all students' skill grade) is 88%. The class mastery (average grade) for the first assessment is 96%, and the class mastery for the second assessment is 81%.
Analyze by Assessment: Select one assessment and view all of the skills tested on the selected assessment
Example- Jack Aaron was tested on 3 skills for Assessment 1. He received a grade of 89% on Assessment 1 and grades of 80%, 67% and 100% on the corresponding skills 5.03, 5.05, and 5.10.
The overall class mastery on each skill for the assessment is 80%, 67% and 100% on the corresponding skills 5.03, 5.05, and 5.10.
Analyze by Multiple Assessments: Select multiple assessment and view all of the skills tested on the selected assessments
Example - Chabrya'l Adams was given 3 Unit Test Assessment Scorecards. She received a grade of 82% on Unit 1 Test, 59% on Unit 3 Test and 50% on Unit 4 Test.
The overall class mastery on each assessment was 86%, 73% and 78% on the corresponding Unit Tests.
