In order for parents to gain access to their accounts, they must create an account by entering a unique access code and their child’s birthday. Therefore, schools have two prerequisites to granting parents access:
- Enter students’ birthdays into Kickboard, either by batch upload or by editing each student’s profile individually.
- Create access letters to send home to parents with instructions for account creation and their unique access code.
If a parent already has an account, but has forgotten their username or password, you can reset their account.
In the event that a parent does not want their child’s data to be accessible via the Parent Student Portal, you can remove a student from the portal, and their information will no longer display on the account.
