Parent Student Portal: Managing parent access

In order for parents to gain access to their accounts, they must create an account by entering a unique access code and their child’s birthday.  Therefore, schools have two prerequisites to granting parents access:

  1. Enter students’ birthdays into Kickboard, either by batch upload or by editing each student’s profile individually.
  2. Create access letters to send home to parents with instructions for account creation and their unique access code.

If a parent already has an account, but has forgotten their username or password, you can reset their account.

In the event that a parent does not want their child’s data to be accessible via the Parent Student Portal, you can remove a student from the portal, and their information will no longer display on the account.
