In preparation for a classroom observation or teacher review, you may want to explore how equitable a teacher is being with the students they serve. Kickboard Answers can help you see if the interactions being recorded by the teacher are consistent among their students. To see this information, you can access the Staff member’s profile.
Start by going to the Staff tab and adjusting the time period for which you want to analyze the data. Click on the Time Period drop down in the top right, then click on any two dates to select a range. Once the start and end dates are selected, click anywhere outside the dropdown to apply the date range filter.
Note: Any of the parameters you set on the main Staff tab—in either the Advanced Filters or on the calendar function—will persist for the data found in the staff profile.
To access the staff member’s profile, click on the staff member’s name.
You can also access a staff member’s profile by typing the staff member’s name into the search bar on the top of the screen.
There are three views in the staff profile: Timeline, Students, and Interactions. To see how a teacher has been assigning interactions to students, select the Students tab on the Staff profile page.
For each student, you will see the number of interactions that were assigned to them by the selected staff member as well as the positivity ratio of those interactions. You can resort the list by clicking on the column header for Interactions or Positivity.
With this information you can see if the teacher is recording data equitably, both for number of interactions and positivity ratio for all the students they serve.
