Your school decided to track a variety of behavior interactions in Kickboard, so it's important to know how these are being used. This could help you identify strengths and areas for improvement.
In order to see which behaviors or consequences are being recorded most often, select the Interactions tab. The term “interactions” refers to both behavior and consequence records.
Next, adjust the time period for which you want to analyze the data. Click on the Time Period dropdown in the top right, then click on any two dates to select a range. Once the start and end dates are selected, click anywhere outside the dropdown to apply the date range filter.
Double check that you have all students, staff, and interactions selected. When you first log in the Kickboard Answers, the student selection will be filtered to only your default group. If you want to include all students, staff, and interactions, start by clicking Advanced Filters.
Then click Check All for each dropdown to select all the available Interactions, Students, and Staff.
Now that all your filters are set, you will see the number of records for each interaction listed in the Count column. To sort this list from highest to lowest, click the Count column header twice.
Now you know which interactions are being recorded most frequently.
Want to filter this down to see only the most common positive behaviors or only the most common negative behaviors? Use the Include dropdown to filter down to a specific category of interactions. Click Uncheck All, then check off only the categories you want to include. If you want to choose specific behaviors from within a category, click Show Interactions.
